Our Backstory aka BS

Bold Springs, a tiny, tightly-knit community where everyone's story intertwines, the journey of BS Vanilla Company began. The company's heart and soul, Jeremiah Bennett and Sarah Standard, chose 'BS' not just for their surnames, but as a nod to their no-nonsense approach ('no Bull Shit') and the community that cradled their dreams.

It was back in 2018, in the warmth of Sarah's kitchen during the Christmas holidays, that this journey took root. Sarah, with her caring nature as a nurse practitioner, and Jeremiah, with his artistic vision as a film, television, and branded content producer, found more than love in each other – they found a shared dream in crafting exquisite vanilla.

Their union was beautifully celebrated in August 2020, in an intimate ceremony that mirrored the closeness of Bold Springs. Surrounded by just a couple of family members and friends, they pledged their lives to each other, embodying the simplicity and sincerity that they value so deeply.

Jeremiah and Sarah's shared passions extend beyond vanilla-making. The kitchen becomes a haven of creativity with Jeremiah's vanilla-infused chocolate chip cookies and Sarah's richly flavored hot cocoa. Their care for nature is evident in the bee hives they lovingly tend, symbolizing their commitment to sustainability.

Their adventurous spirits were kindled further by a delayed honeymoon to the Greek islands, inspiring not only their love for world travel but also infusing their vanilla with the essence of global exploration and discovery.

Now, as they unveil their sixth batch of vanilla in 2023, BS Vanilla Company stands as a symbol of their love, their journey, and their dedication to their small community.
